Introducing the Caprine Crew!

 Well, this is old news to some of you, since I've been awful about updating the blog lately, but... I have goats again!! ❤️ 

I picked up three Guernsey mix doelings mid June, and added a Nigerian Dwarf doeling just a couple weeks ago because I tried the milk from that breed and found it absolutely delicious. 

Dad has been helping me again - as usual, I couldn't have done it without him! A few others have pitched in as well, and now the goats have a very nice little roofed area just off the rabbitry. I'm still working on getting fencing up, but have a good start on their first pasture.

So here are the girls- Lilah (left) and Marigold (right).

That's most of what's been going on here lately! I've gotten more chicks this summer...had a couple ducklings hatch...had some rabbits born,  and have been working full time. I didn't get around to planting a garden, but was given some tomatoes and had lots of pumpkin and squash sprout all over the place. 😂 The tomatoes are just starting to ripen, and some of the pumpkins are starting to change color.
